Hi!
I'm planning to upgrade my current PC build.
My current specs are:

- be quiet! Darkbase Pro 900 (Rev. 1)
- Intel Core i5 3570k @ 4.0 GHz
- Palit GTX1070 Super Jetstream
- Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
- 16GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance Low Profile black PC3-12800U
- Alpenföhn K2
-be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER CM BQT E9-CM-480W 80+Gold
-Samsung SSD 840 120GB + 500GB Samsung SSD 850
-Seagate Barracuda 1000GB
-27" Dell S2716DG 144Hz G-Sync Monitor

I'd like to upgrade following components (if they match and they make sense together):

- Ryzen 5/2600X
or Ryzen 7/2700X
- G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-38 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX)
- ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming
or ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
- be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
- be quiet! Straight Power 11 650W ATX 2.4

What are my wishes/expectations?
- playing newest games (like Metro Exodus, Hitman Season 2, Battlefield, V, ...) in 1440p @ High-Ultra with 60 fps.
-a relativley quiet system in normal usage (surfing, streaming,...) and also when gaming.

What are you thinking of the components above? Any better suggestions?

Thank you all for your help! :)

Solution
You'll want a kit of 3200mhz CL14 instead of CL16. That kit will be fine for both b450 and x470. 650w power supply would be a solid wattage to allow overhead for upgrades. As for the power supply manufacturer, this would be my recommendation:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ B&H)
Total: $59.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

This is a great 750w power supply for the money.

Yes, the 1070 is great for 1440p gaming. You should average 60+ fps easily in all the games you play. Your components are all compatible, and you could get a 2600X instead of the 2700X if you wanted to, since neither one will bottleneck the 1070. Be quiet makes great components so those are a great pick especially since you wanted a quiet system! The 3200MHz RAM will work great, as Ryzen processors like fast RAM.

Here's a video where you can see how well the 1070 does in 1440p gaming, if you're interested.

First: thank you for the quick answers! :)
I'm not 100% sure which Ryzen I should pick, because the 2600X isn't bad in gaming, and I don't think i need 8 cores. Is the 2700X more "future safe" in any way?
What about the Asus Board i mentioned? Would you choose the X470 over B450 or is the price difference not worth it?

Well, I personally would probably go with the 2600X, as the cost difference wouldn't necessarily be worth the gain for me.

And, for the motherboard, B450 for 2600X and X470 for 2700X. So either spend way more or spend way less, you choose.

And the Memory is good enough for both Ryzen's/Boards?
What about the 650W power supply? Is this for a future GPU and an overclocked system also strong enough? (like an RTX2080)

Yes, the memory is good enough for both boards. It's compatible with both if that's what you we're asking.

The 650W power supply is enough, and it can handle an RTX 2080, but if you wanted to be absolutely sure about it, then go with the 750W version.
