Current Samurai In-Game Event

I am reading the BNN-News about In-Game Events and Orcs appearing in towns
and such. But I never got accros any events within the game on Europa
shared, Orcs or such in towns.
Any experiences, observations about current in-game happenings on Europa
shared ? Where and when ? I would like to participate...

Europa doesn't currently have an EM and hence, no events. Don't feel alone
though; Atlantic is the largest North American shard and their EM is still
in training so they haven't had any events either. You might want to check
out http://uo.stratics.com . There is a Europa shard-specific forum where
you can get filled in on all the (lack of) happenings.

I think the orcs that were in Cove on Atlantic were part of that. Of
course there was no story and nothing to do.

Currently NAPA has Orcs running all over the Cove area, died four times
before I found a mask of Orcish Kin. As I am in and out with no regularity,
I am not too sure why this is going on. It is -interesting- to pop into a
town and "surprise" a raider before he sees you. Thurmond-

As another poster mentioned, Europa is currently EM-less(i think us lot on
Atlantic only got an event started because Glamdring, the lead EM, got tired of
all the grumbles on the Stratics boards and the mass PMs hehe), so until
someone gets about to turning on your "orc invasion", you're sadly a tad
screwed...(they're training EMs as we all type, so you never know, might have
one starting on Europa tomorrow...it could happen)

It's not a big thrill, though...there's a mass of orcs crammed into tiny little
Cove.
I really disliked Orc Scouts when i was a mage/warrior, i HATE them as a
paladin...one hit, poof, heal, then they're back at full health, one hit,
poof...it's utter futility...
And Orc brutes are pathetic...when i first read about them, i nearly soiled
myself laughing(shoul probably get that checked out. hehe), they supposedly
chuck other orcs at you when they get particularly grumpy...i guess they do if
they don't die really quickly...which they kinda did, nowhere near enough hps
to challenge a paladin with EoO, CW and an Orc Slayer...
Mages are crawling all over...two hit kill, whoopdie doo...

There's also a few Ogre Lords running about, but with so many orcish mages
spawning at once, and boredom setting in, i left without playing with 'em...

Not a big whoop, and cloned on every shard, which is kinda sad, but at least
it's something, and those that were there on the first day at least got their
pixel crack Orcish Engineer kits...whatever the heck they're for...the rest of
us just get an open air version of the Orc Cave, with Ogre Lords...

(And, of course, several of the shards with EMs prior to the events starting
are already onto the next phase of the event...think it was mass resource
gathering...yay)

There's also brigands in Buc's Den/Trammel. I popped in there with my
blacksmith to pick up a BOD and was surrounded with what seemed like 20
brigands.

Just to east of Vesper by the Y in the road. If you start out from the
inn/guard post and head towards Covetous, it is on the right.
