I'm currently trying to reuse parts from my 5 year old build to create a new, much more powerful build. I'm looking for a build that costs around $1500 and I want to reuse my old 650 W power supply, disk drives, 128 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD. I could reuse my ATI Radeon HD 5870, though I am thinking about replacing it. Would these parts be good, and would they work with reusing the parts I specified above, or should I replace some of those parts too?
Currently I'm looking at:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 780: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130918
Intel i7 4770K 3.5 GHz: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116901
16GB (2x8GB) G.SKILL Trident X Series 2400 DDR3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231589
ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132125
Will this work so far? And should I replace any more of the parts above, or will I be okay with a 650 W power supply? The power supply is pretty much my only major worry.
