Question Currently upgrading a budget PC

Hi, this is my first time posting on these forums and I wanted to ask for some insight on upgrading my PC, the main purpose I need it for at the moment is Overwatch, but anything better is also great!

Currently my specs are as follows

CPU: AMD A6-7400K RADEON R5
Graphics Card: AMD RX 460
RAM: Kingston 2x8
HDD: 2 Seagate 450 or so GB
Motherboard: Biostar Hi-fi A70U3P
Power Suppy: Average 330W

My current issue seems to be my CPU bottlenecking my graphics card, my budget right now is under $100, but around 50-60$ would be great. If you need anymore information, I'd be happy to give it and really appreciate any help!

There aren't a lot of good choices there, but there are some options that would allow for some upgrading from an A8.

I would recommend the Athlon II X4 880K. It's just under your budget limit, and since you're using an RX 460 you don't need to have integrated graphics. However...unless your A8 is one of the 1C/2T types, you're going to see very little improvement.

Just got home and I got my CPU wrong, it's actually an A6-7400K Radeon R5, my bad

In that case, yes, I would look for the 880K. More cores/threads, & faster per-core speeds. It's still not a great upgrade, but moves you up at least from a 5th-tier to a 4th-tier CPU (https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html). Any other kind of upgrade would be a "full" upgrade: CPU, motherboard, DDR4 RAM, etc.

I just ordered an AMD A10-5700 quad core from eBay, got it for $30 in an auction. Would that be an upgrade at all?

Not on single threaded applications, but about 50% improvement on multi-threaded applications.
