Hi, I'm running Windows 10 64-bit right now.

My mouse cursor, earlier on today changed randomly to the old Windows 7 cursor. I restored my computer to a few days ago (I make restore points every now and then). It was all god for about 15 minutes until it came back and I don't know how to fix it.

Please Help?

Mouse pointers haven't changed since Win 95.

Just go to Mouse in the Control Panel, select you pointer scheme, and save it.

Unclick and reclick anything in Mouse, so that the Apply button is not greyed out. Click Apply and it should save everything.

Don't mess with the Registry in Win 10, it is extremely fragile. In Vista you could play in it all day and not wreck anything.

I've attempted a simple change, and locked it up. I've done major alterations, and had no problems. Even and installation of something minor has made it invalid.
