i ma getting a new gaming monitor and i dont know if i should get curved or flat one? i sit about 70 cm away from monitor and the gaming monitor has 1800r curve i play like e-sports games and some other games

Solution
To be honest i went from a 27" 1080p 60Hz Flat Screen to a 34" Curved 1440p 120Hz (1900R) monitor and as much as it pains me to say i don't think it was worth the AUD$1600 (about USD $1100) that i paid for it - Alienware AW3418DW.

Immersion into gaming happens on any sized screen, just a fraction quicker on a larger screen, including a curved screen but in hindsight i wish i had bought a 4K monitor for my rig given how potent it is. I don't think you need to go curved for the sake of it, once you use it for a little while you dont even notice the curve....

If i had two of these screens i would think the immersion would be much greater as i would feel surrounded....

I think the curve is worthwhile on an ultrawide but not on a 16:9 personally. I bought a cheap 2560 x 1080 34" ultrawide because I wasn't sure I would like the apsect ratio and didn't want to spend over $1k to find out. Turns out I really do and am considering a better ultrawide next time.

I notice if you don't sit absolutley square on to the monitor it's width and the distance to the far side becomes very apparent and you can get quite a noticable angle with even a small amount of turning your body so I can see how a slight curve would help a little.

Given that game list you have you want to focus on high refresh rates mate, you want 144Hz minimum, preferably 200+ is great for CS:GO and PUBG, you should focus on that above everything else. Can you list your system specs and we can help more....

For that budget I'd pass on curved as you won't really be able to get a large enough screen to make it worth it imho. I'd either go Asus VG248QE (1080P/144hz/TN) *competitive* or LG 29" 2560x1080P/IPS/75hz. Not as competitive but your do get the extra peripheral.
