Question Curved monitors affect gaming?

Looking at the MSI Optix G24C, one of the few good monitors available in my region, with 1080p 144hz and a 1ms response time. Also a VA panel with great colors. However, I am just worried how much the curve of the monitor will throw my aim off and the overall gameplay, any curved users have input here?

It doesn't affect aim. Curved monitors enhance immersion.

There is one minus though - depending on vertical view angle, straight lines may look curved.

Glad to hear. Any realistic applications where curved straight lines may appear in gaming? If not then curved should be great for me.

In gaming it wouldn't matter.
But if you were doing some graphics designer work, then it probably would be an issue.

I gamed on a curved monitor for years and never had an issue with any games so you shouldn’t have a problem aiming. They are very immersive when viewed at close range so may well improve your concentration.
