Curved or 144hz at $300-$350

I'll be purchasing a monitor for my PC around this weekend and I was torn between curved 60hz or flat 144hz.

When budget is around $300, what should I get?

Intention of use would be mostly gaming, some productivity, and slight media watching.

Is your GPU capable of running your games at 144FPS? Which GPU is it?
Which resolution are you talking about?
Any of those have G-Sync or Freesync?

There are more more things to consider than just curved or flat.
With that said, i'd go 144Hz anyday tho

For gaming get the 144hz for sure. Newegg has a good deal on a 144hz. The promo code on the page cuts the price even lower.

I have a GTX 970 and I'm not a G-Sync fan. (Meaning I can live with tearing) and Overwatch runs at about 160FPS or 300FPS if I tweak the AA.

Well, if OW is one of your main games and you can reach those FPS, i'd totally recommend the 144Hz. First Person Shooters benefit greatly from higher refresh rates.
