Supposed to is the right term. Intel was supposed to ship manufacturers the EP, which has the onboard video disabled on the chip, at a discount rate compared to the 815E. This was to answer the question "why pay for onboard video if we don't need it" But Intel could not produce enough of these early enough to fill initial demand, and instead substituted the original E chipset for the lower price of the EP to fill obligations. So chances are pretty good that if you purchase the CUSL2-C, you'll get the E instead of the EP. I read an article on this where a guy put up a big bitch about it because he was supposed to get the "new" chipset. He even called Asus about it. Other people had to explain what happened, and that the EP has no performance advantages over the E, only price. They posted the source article as well.
