i've configured aome costum alerts on my win2k server to alert me when cpu usage falls below a certain percentage, etc. when this trheshold is reached, the 'administrator' account is sent a message. this is great, but the sound for each alert is the same .wav file. what i would like to do is replace the .wav file for each seperate alert so that i can recognize the problem by sound if im not looking at the screen. i know how to replace the individual windows event sounds in windows 98, but not sure how to accomplish this goal. any ideas? 3rd party software that might do this same thing? thanks, amigos

ok, i have an .exe file that i want to run whenever the threshold on the performance alert ive set is reached, but the program doesnt seem to run. but, when i check in the task manager the selected program is listed as having run, but it never appeared on the screen (graphical alert program). anybody know why this is? I've checked the 'runt his program' box on the 'action' tab in the alerts menu. thanks
