Custom Build can't boot OS

I built my pc last year and recentyl upgraded my motherboard and processor. I posted fine then the "please insert boot disk" came up. My HDD has windows 7 installed and i'm stumped on how to fix it.

I'll sound like a noob because i didnt build it the first time, but how does one know if the bios sees the drive?

enter BIOS and look at the screen where it shows you the devices connected - RTFM on the motherboard

would this be in Advanced on an ASUS motherboard bios

On asus bios there is sometimes a different "F" key for boot heirarchy. Look at the right top corner of the screen as you boot for options.

I do not see any F key fore this option
