Seeming as it is from a tech guy, have you considered getting the parts yourself then getting them to put it together? For £830, you could buy the parts below, then see if the they could put it together and update the BIOS (something they will need to do to make the CPU work on the motherboard) for £120 or less. That way, you have a much better system at the same price or less.

Well that machine will run the Sims 4 fine (to be honest, almost any modern PC can run the Sims 4 ok).

What I would say, you probably want to increase the memory to 16gb (8 is bare minimum these days). I would also suggest it's worth paying a bit extra for an SSD instead of an HDD as that will greatly improve loading times.

Edit: Just a side note, I've helped a friend set up a machine for the Sims 4 a few years ago- when you install all the add on packs the game gets very clunky no matter what hardware you run it on.

thanks for your advice. i will defiantely take note of upgrading to 16gb or higher if they do that in memory. i have also asked for an additional SSD 240 GB to help it run faster.

im just looking for a really good gaming pc tower which will perform well. i was given another choice. which would you go for!? im not too concerned over price. as both of these are costing me over £ 1000 but i am looking for the best which will allow to play sims 4.

Intel Coffee Lake Core i5 8600K
ASUS Prime Z370-P Motherboard
8GB 3200MHz Corsair DDR4 RAM
gtx 1060
1 TB Hard Drive
240 GB SSD

as im no expert on gaming pc im looking for your input especially to play sims 4 with expansion packs.

I see is this from a prebuilt company or individual? and how much would you be spending in total?

im edging towards the stormforce but please give your opinion. :)
Prebuilt companies often cheap out on PSU one of the most important components, I can probably give you a build idea if you can make sure your builder can do requested custom builds.
