Hi all - I am completely new to here so please do bear with me. I currently have a desktop computer with an old AMD A10 CPU. I recently downloaded Flight Sim but it was obvious my current desktop is nowhere near powerful enough to run the game.

So I decided I would have a bash at building my own computer. I have zero experience so total beginner. I have had to research everything from scratch.

My new build is motivated by flight sim 2020, but I would like space to play other games too. I do not consider myself a hardcore gamer, more of a general enthusiast. I will not be looking to play most modern games.

So this is what I am initially thinking based on some research;

Case: ZXT H700
MoBo: MSI X570
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB
Video: RX 5600 XT 6GB
SSD: Samsung Evo 500GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
PSU: Corsair RM 2019
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB

I would be very grateful for any thoughts and opinions. Will this run Flight Sim well? It is not required to be 4K. Is it overkill? If I can save money on other parts that will do the same job that would be just as good. Likewise, if there are better products for small price increases I may also be open to that.
Thank you very much!
