This laptop is a custom build on PC Specialist which I will use for medium level gaming and university course work (Game programming) Is it any good and can anyone improve it for a similar price;

For medium gaming, it will be perfectly fine. For a 14" screen, you will likely not get better prices. IF you bump up to a 15.6" screen then you could probably shave 50 off the price. As it sits though, that looks pretty solid.

My main concern is running games such as shadow of mordor and alien isolation at medium settings as a minimum, is that possible?
