Hi guys,

My PC finally blew on me tonight after months of issues and I am in need of a gaming PC quickly.

I am trying not to make a rushed purchase, but please can you recommend three good custom-built pc's for me on the market.

My budget: $1,500-$2,000

Type of Gaming: 1080p gaming; MMO's mostly (FF14, Lost Ark, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online) and some other titles, such as, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Valorant to give you an idea.

I would prefer at least a 1TB SSD and maybe another 1TB HDD, due to the number of games I have downloaded.

If there is anything more information you need me to provide please just let me know.

Thank you!

Another option is to order the parts and start calling around to local mom & pops PC/laptop repair shops and find out how much they charge to build it for you if you bring them down the components after they arrive. This way you know EXACTLY what is going inside your case. I live in Alaska and I can think of two such places off the top of my head that are within a twenty minute drive from me. I realize there's valid reasons for people wanting to purchase a pre-built but I can't stress enough on the hose job most if not all of them are. They're either screwing you on a case with poor airflow or a cheap motherboard with poor VRM's or even worse a cheap psu if not all of the above.

Thanks for your reply.

Im having a hard time navigating the first set of links combined with your second recommended set, is It possible to post a final build suggestion including what you had just recommended.

Also, is this PC capable of running 1440p or 4K? If I'm going to build I might as well get something future proof in case I want to upgrade .

Thanks!

You'd want to change the gpu and psu for those resolutions and that would up the cost tremendously. What you don't want is to play first person shooters such as Warzone at 4K due to the fact those games rely heavily on frames per second. That first build I posted will do you just fine.

btw here's a decent gaming monitor to have a look at if you're in the market for one.
