EDIT: I swapped the old GPU with a GTX 1060 6GB, and it is crash free! Thanks Sir Duck on steam for the fix!
Before anything else, my specs are:
CPU: AMD FX 6300 (@ 3.5 GHz) - Has not been Overclocked.
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480
PSU: EVGA 500 B1
RAM: Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3
Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
SSD: Sandisk 240GB
HSF: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
HDD: Seagate 1TB
I had someone who had a lot of experience in building computers over at my house on Sunday, and using the parts stated above, we built the PC. I installed Windows 10 on the SSD, and it seemed to be working great after that! After finishing installing my video games, I found that my FPS is very high, and visually smooth. After about 10 minutes, the monitor randomly freezes; a gray-ish color. When this happened, I tried the Windows Key, and Ctrl+Alt+Del. Eventually, I just had to turn off the power supply, turn it back on, and restart the computer. I figured it was just because this was the Computer's first time on. But, no matter what game I play, and how awesome the frame rate is, the problem persists. I looked into it, downloaded a bunch of Radeon Drivers, used the "AMD Radeon Settings" application, configured with some battery settings, but nothing worked, and all of my drivers are up-to-date. I'm wondering if this is happening because the RAM I bought for the Computer is too cheap, or perhaps it's because I installed Windows 10 to the SSD rather than HDD. The person who helped build the computer said he needed to bring one more cable over on Wednesday/Thursday, and it's for the HDD. Could that be it? Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond!
