Hey, all,

I built a custom rig this summer, and this morning, I was unable to get a video output. I think it's a driver issue, but I can't get into safe mode or even ABOs for that matter. I've tried F7, F8, F5, and F12. I pressed the button once each second, and tried my HDMI cable plugged into both my GPU output and my mobo output. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. My specs are below.

Motherboard: ASRock z77 extreme 4

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC

OS: Windows 7 home premium

CPU:intel i5

Update: Thanks for all the reply. I can definitely use that to troubleshoot in the future, but I figured out that it was a corrupt driver install. I was able to boot up in safe mode and fix the problem.

A lot of motherboards use del key as their key to go into bios, so you may want to try that. Other than that I would play your computer into a TV or another monitor to make sure it isnt a monitor issue. If it isn't a monitor issue, I would either get a friend to loan you a video card or buy a super cheap $20 video card to make sure that is even the problem before investing in a new expensive one.
