Custom computer powers on but nothing on screen?

Hi,

So I just purchased a new motherboard, CPU, graphics card, and RAM for my Alienware Area 51 Desktop. I put it all together and when I turn it on via the power button the CPU fan spins, the graphics card fan spins, and there is no beeping but nothing shows up on the monitor. The monitor works, I tested it with my MacBook. Any suggestions?

My Setup:

Motherboard: Asus P7P55 LX
Processor: Intel 2.8 GHz Quad-core CORE i5
Graphics card: NVIDIA 9500 with 1 GB of VRAM

Any help is really appreciated.

Can you also post ram specs and O/s details as well please?
do you have a system speaker in there as well?
I'm off to sleep now, but those details will help anyone else who comes in.

No beeping? Do you have a system speaker installed (yes, I know Moto asked, but it is important).

Are you reusing your hard drive? If so, you will need to reinstall Windows. Chipset drivers will be incompatible.

the easy test is to get the memory out of it and if it beeps: mother board/video card/cpu are good if not you got a problem with one of them.
