Custom fan vents on PC

I want to add more fan vents holes to my old Casing. Can I ask what's the proper hole size and what's the no no's of setting more vent holes

The hole size will be proper if it matches the fans you have . Buy them first

Generally air flow is in at the front and bottom , out at the top and back
