Helloous im Ricardo and today i found an old non-mechanical keyboard and it fits me perfectly except for the fact that it is covered in dust literally. So i took out the keys cleaned each one of them and then cleaned the key holding thing and at that moment i tought..."hmm i need a keyboard...this is a comfortable keyboard...this keyboard is not stylish though..." so i tought that it might be worth putting some LEDs and custom painting it to white (colour of my pc, colour of my mouse, colour of my mouse mat, colour of my room, colour of my desk, colour of my earphones,(i think you get the point) and the colour of almost everything i use, (even the bathroom is white LOL) so anyways i was thinking if it would be worth it to pimp it out or just get a new one for like 79$? thanks and BTW it is a dell series keyboard and no it is not mechanical. And 1 last thing, im pretty sure i posted this in the wrong place lol.

Personally, as long it still works I don't see why you can't pimp it out. It's not something I would do myself but I certainly wouldn't stop anyone else from doing it. The only advise I would give would be to record the key positions before you start so you know where they belong when you reassemble the keyboard.

I personally like mechanical keyboards and there are of companies that have white keyboards with Cherry Mx switches and backlighting .(Ducky is one) so to me personally no it is not worth it but I also dont know what your using this keyboard for so.
