I have an EK Supremacy loop on my CPU although it's quite old, I have been using distilled water and EK's CryoFuel concentrate to prevent corrosion, the issue is i haven't cleaned /flushed my loop for over two years. Recently, infact last week I got a new 14900k and a z790 rog strix, so pretty much i am out of budget. I am fully determined to get a new cpu block probably EK's Velocity 2 or something even better, but i cannot till summers. Should i Carry on with my cooling setup, the coolant is yellowish, although there is no visible formation of Algae or fungus.

I do want to flush my loop but i cannot afford EK's premix. My questions are (1) should i flush my loop and use distilled water for a few months until i get a new cpu block and then add EK's cryofuel concentrate ? (2) is there any cheap alternative of the EK's Premix concentrate, which I may use temporarily for a few months without harming my loop. Or should i stay put with my loop until i upgrade my block, the issue is idk when that its gonna be

^ you should read through that

To add, if you don't have time or the opportunity to flush/maintain your loop, then custom watercooling isn't meant for you. Watercooling is akin to maintaining your car, if you can't keep up with coolant, oil and tire changes, then you shouldn't be owning a car.

My advice? Take a day or two off, tear down the loop and carefully clean it all up, then use distilled water with ptnuke. I don't use Cryofuel since they denature over time and clog up the loop, not to mention the innards of a radiator.

Ok as of now i have entirely flushed my loop, with distilled water there was no formation of algae etc but the coolant was yellow and smelled funny. I cleaned everything with distilled water even opened the cpu block, flushed the radiatior more than a few times. Now my only question is the about the coolant, can't i use a car coolant and dilute it with distiiled water ?

DO NOT USE ANTIFREEZE!!!

Ok guys i know you might not support this but, i got hold of this anti freeze which is already dilluted and this is it's specs. Would i need to dilute it even further
