Question Custom Map Maker for Photobooks?

Can anyone recommend a way I can customise maps that I can then print in a photobook?
Basically, I want something like Google Maps that I can take off certain labels or all and add my own or something similar.

This particular map is just one pin in one location but I may want to create a bit more of a trip map, so that flexibility would be good.

I remember Google Maps has a feature allowing you to create your own layer for printing / sharing, kind of starting with an empty map then put your own info on it.
