Custom PC and it's upgrades. (low budget

So recently I made my first custom PC (yay!)
I'm new to this but I've realized it's better to go custom then buy it straight from Dell or HP.
This is my current build:
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard Disk
AMD Radeon Sapphire R7 250x 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
500w Power Supply (need to see which brand)
AMD FX-6000 series CPU (need to confirm model)
An old cheap case I found lying around my house.

As you can see my budget sucks, it's pretty low and the prices in India are really high, and the unavailability of most parts sucks too.
Basically I'm open to any suggestions and comments

That'll work so far - have DRAM? might look at the FX 6300

I want to make it as future proof as possible and I might upgrade some parts, please recommend which ones.

Maybe a newer chipset mobo like a 990, move the 6300 up to a 8320 or 8350, any thought to an SSD, depending on what all you do a better GPU

get a fx 8320 if you are stick with amd

AMD is cheaper here.
I was thinking get the 990 chipset, stick with the 6300 and get a r9 280x
Thoughts?
(the price is like twice here in India than in USA, but I guess I could order them from there.)

I am going to use my PC for gaming, video editing and basically messing around with my droid. But mostly gaming, yeah.

Or maybe suggest a better chipset which will easily last me 5 years.

Okay here is the deal, the parts mentioned above have already been bought along with 8 gig of Kingston 1600MHz RAM, I have $300-400 to upgrade any parts so I need suggestions for that.

I could, $120 on amazon. Maybe also get the r9 280x along with it? Stick with the fx-6300 though. What do you think?
