Hey guys/gals,

I'm new to the world of custom builds and was looking for some advise and help.

I am planning on buying and building a new PC very soon (next month), so far this is what i have chosen http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/wX3Gyc and want some thoughts and opinions on if this is okay or what changes/tweaks that could/should be made.

So I am going to be doing film work on this, that means Video editing, rendering and colouring. Just a work PC but I want it to last a few years with the added bonus of upgrading parts as and when they are needed.

My budget is about £1000 but I work so a few £ here or there don't matter too much to me. I have been advised by a friend to post my parts list on here and get some help, I have also been told that with the CPU to get a OEM as I have chosen a liquid CPU cooler anyway.

I plan on having about 2/3 screens connect at some point starting off with what ever I can get then upgrading to 2K and then 4K up when I can afford it. I already have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface connected to 2 Truth B3031A Monitor speakers. I plan on upgrading the storage space as and when the deals crop up and I can buy them so I'm mainly focused in this primary build with a primary SSD for the Windows OS.

Any help? Please and thanks in advance.

Some Suggestions:

-Water cooling is not needed, get the noctua nh-d15, it will be more than you could ever ask for, though it comes at a price. If you don't want to spend the money on the noctua cooler, then you can go with the hyper 212 evo cooler, only 30$.
-Is 512GB of storage going to be enough? You could get the WD Black hard drive at 1tb for 70$
-Your PSU is a bit overkill, go with a 650w one.
-You could go with the NZXT S340 for a case, it's a lot cheaper and is a good, quality case.

Hyper 212 Evo...
1. You could go with a lot cheaper case that is just as good as the $180 one.

2. You could go with a 650 watt PSU. The 750w is overkill. The 650 watt could be called a litttle overkill as well. I'de recommend a cheaper PSU. But get a good 650watt psu. EVGA, has been known for cheap capacitors in there psu. I recommend getting a cheaper, nice looking case and get a PSU made from the same company your case is made from. This just seems to make your build fit perfectly, dont know why but it is always better.
