I built a gaming PC for my nephew a few weeks ago and haven't been able to deliver it, so it has been sitting on the corner of my desk with the cover off. It runs great, but it is in a 'shoebox' form factor case with no place to hide cables, and even the shorter cables that came with the SFX PSU are WAY too long. This was never intended to be a show build, but the rat's nest of cables is bothering me. The financially wise move is to put the cover on and stop looking at it, but I've decided to replace Corsair's cables with custom length cables that fit exactly.
I have found CableMod's configuration tool that let's you specify the PSU model, the length, and the connector (4-Pin ATX, 8-Pin PCIe, etc).
Is CableMod reputable? Is there some other company else I should look at for custom length cables.
Ship-To is USA.
Thanks.
In case somebody wants to make other suggestions, the case and PSU are:
Case: Silverstone Sugo SG11
PSU: Corsair SFX750 Platinum
