Custom Resolution support

Will any graphic card support custom resolution? I am trying to find the cheapest card that will support a custom resolution of 1080 x 720.

What is your budget? Also where are you going to use it for? Pretty much any card can handle that resolution.

That's what I assumed. I have a client who just bought a surface pro and says he requires 1080 x 720 resolution to be able to view it on his home computer. I told him the onboard intel card would most likely support it but he says it doesn't so I am just trying to find the cheapest card to give to him.

I think your client got it mix up. micorsoft surface it either 1080p or 720p. not 1080x720

If it is just for the resolution, i would recommend this. (although its just crap in general it is able to run that res, but not do much more than that.)

It won't do much more though, than just running that resolution.

And like rgd1101 said, its indeed 1920x1080 for the first Surface pro model.

The reason he wants a video car d is because it needs to support 1080 x 720.

This is so his work screen displays properly on my Surface, which is 3:2, 2160 x 1440.
