hey guys i need some advises and help

next summer i am building a new rig and this time i am pushing my limit again going for a full custom water loop instead of the traditional air/closed water-loop i currently have
now i already have a variety of issues and i have yet ot start building it
the case i chose for this next bad boy is the Enthoo Luxe http://www.amazon.ca/…/B00L…/ref=sr_1_1/184-7065254-5879755…

and now i would like to use these fans on the rads but my first question is would the RPM be too low? (800 ~ 1500 R.P.M) http://www.amazon.ca/Thermaltake-Riing-120mm-Adjustable-Radiator/dp/B014QW98SC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450847234&sr=8-1&keywords=thermaltake+rgb

i thought i could compensate the low RPM with additional fans and rads, planed to have a triple 120 on top and a single 120 on the back and if required or if i can even make it fit .. a double 120 right next to the HDD cage

also these fans comes with a triple controller but i would be ending up using 4-6 of them can i plug them all on the same controller with some Y cables?

now i have heard form Linus video that liquid coolant was a bad idea since overtime it will end up clogging your blocks and i definitely do not want that, to compensate for the lack of dye i am looking for parts that lit up by themselves instead of a RGB led strip since it feels more appealing, so far i found swiftech who makes some pretty damn nice CPU and GPU block http://www.swiftech.com/ but always love to get pointed out other seller i might not be aware of, i also know about EKWB but that is about it

another question i have is have absolutely no idea what size or strength of pump i would need for a loop containing 1 or 2 reservoir 2-3 rads and the CPU (latest generation of I7 next summer) and GPU (Pascal Nvidia serie mostlikely a 80 unless the 70 perform incredibly well and have enough
VRAM)

TLDR: can these fan i linked work on a radiator and i need recommendation on shiny watercooling parts and cool ideas

thank you for your support brothers!

i would recomend any EK CPU block, my personal favourites are the supremecy nickle plexi, or performancepcs do some nice modded ones with custom cut plexi tops with things like ROG logo or biohazard symbol etc

EK GPU blocks
EK coolstream XE rads are best from what i saw on tests (this is legitimate and not just opinion), but they are 60mm thick, so the PE are the other option, SE are too slim to do any good (same source as other info)

EK reserviour, tubular, possibly with a pump combo, get a D5 pump, you should only need one, but get two if you have the money and are running like 3 rads, 2 gpu blocks and a cpu block.

D5 pump, any brand is fine.

Riing fans are good static pressure fans. The RPM doesn't matter, for rads it's all about static pressure and these are good radiator fans, just good fans.
To control them, you can use software if you get a Grid+ V2

I usually get primochill tubing, but any is fine, hardline or flexible is fine, depends what you want. I get clear.

I use X1 UV Blue, what linus said is kinda outdated (pretty sure it was like 2012 or something), dyed coolant is fine, concentrate or premix, i buy premix because it's easier. If you get a UV X1 then it will glow under UV light. Or pastel, or EK coolant etc. Basically dye it whatever colour you like, IMO it looks much nicer with clear tubes and a dyed coolant, and it works just as well.

IDK what else to say, apart from a Hue+ would be a good LED controller, or just get some cheap ones from eBay, I just ordered UV ones to illuminate my fluid!

thank you for taking the time to help me Mattz!

as for the GPU and CPU block i already decided to go with Swiftech since they look beast and saw Linus using them so i am guessing they should be good enough if he decided to use them into their rigs and read that both EK and Swiftech where in the top ranking for water cooling

i was planning on getting a cylindrical res with the D5 pump from EK as you mentioned https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-xres-140-revo-d5-pwm-incl-pump and have a rad/pump compo for the single rad from swiftech because that thing just look beast, would it work well or would that cause conflict? http://www.swiftech.com/MCR140-X.aspx

also would the CE rads from EK be good? because i realised the fan i bought were also available in 140mm so i swaped my order for 6x 140mm instead of 6x 120mm

thanks for suggesting the grid+ V2! was actually trying to figure out a way to centralize all my fans, my only issue is will i still be able to change the color on my fans with this hub?

was planing to go hard tubing for a cleaner look any advise about thing i could do wrong?

as for the dye i would really love to use them but could you give me credible source that it will not harm my system? also will the dye stick to my system? for example if i use red dye with clear tubing and then decide a few months later to try green would my pipes need to be replaced because they would have been tainted red by the dye? the GPU blocks from swiftech and the radiator have a window and i would hate to have to replace these

again a huge thank you for taking the time to help me buddy!

ok so keeping on top of it, I dont know about the rad/res/pump thing, I know that the swiftech pump is loud as hell, and because it would be a lower flow rate it would possibly be destroyed by ligquid ariving and being forced through it by the more powerful pump.

CE rads are fine, I forgot about them, but yes, they will be better as they are 140mm wide instead of 120mm

I honestly don't know about the fans. I assume that thermaltake use software to do so, and I would guess that you would still be able to use the software as the grid sends a separate signal to each fan, otherwise you could plug in the two fan hubs from thermaltake into the grid, as you will alreay have them, and you can test out the other way anyway.

hard tubing is just a matter of being careful and precise. JayzTwoCents did a great video on it so ill link it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRzypS4P9V8

now for the dye, I don't really know where to find a conclusive source, but the best way to prove it, is simply look at all the people using dye. If it was bad for the blocks then people wouldn't use it at all. Again, look at all that Jay does and kinda learn from him, thats what I did. The dye wont do anything to the tubing I don't think, unless you get some weird dye or use the wrong tubing, mayhems say dont use their coolant with tygon tubing as it will stain it. Really it's down to you, if you don't mind how coloured tubes look, then go for it. I personally like the clear tubes with a dye, especially as your res will see the coloured coolant. And if it was bad companies would make the warranty void if it was gonna clog and damage the blocks.

yeah it's a scenario i was afraid that could happen ... would a single D5 pump be enough for
1 cpu
1 gpu (maybe 2 later on)
1 single rad
1 dual rad
1 tripple rad

should i get 2 pump at the start? or if i ditch the dual rad (not even sure if i will be able to squeeze it between the GPU and HDD cages as intended) would 1 D5 pump be enough?

good idea about the fans! didn't know i could simply link the 2 hubs into the grid

thanks for the video! i was going for acrylic but after watching another video he mentioned at the start it seems that PETG is a much wiser choice

alright so as long as i buy dyes from EKWB it should not stain my system, really glad to hear it because yes dyed coolant trough clear pipes is about the best effect you can get, EKWB recommend changing it every year so this wash off another fear i had that i did not want to have to clean my loop every few months

thanks a lot for your support once again brother!

what case is it that you're using?
get 2 pumps, i'd get as much radiator space as possible, it makes much more difference than tickness, and get 140mm whenever possible

get mayhems or ek premix, you can get dye, it's just a bit annoying and more expensive as you have to buy the dye and the water or whatever, and mix the right amounts together

I would clean my system every year, maybe not replace the coolant. But cleaning it makes sure it will work at it's best possible state and means you will find out about any problems soon enough. But that is more about the blocks than anything

Would you be able to send me some pics of it as you do it, you can PM me if you want to get an email etc

i am using the Enthoo luxe, will update this album everytime i add more parts but it'd not for a while since i am waiting for pascal to release before buying the mobo and CPU
http://imgur.com/a/fbVwK

this is the current list part so far but some parts might change http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Emperor_Solaris/saved/#view=rXLQzy

yeah i meant premix not dye
