Question Custom water loop

Not sure what you mean - yes, there are some bad reviews, but there are also good reviews. Sounds like most are RGB lighting related, but that doesn't mean ALL have the same issue. This is where doing your homework comes handy - you get to check things out for yourself before buying. Don't always trust reviews you read online; make sure you read a lot of them to get a feeling of how much is truth and how much is just user ignorance.

What other options are you considering? How did you land on that Thermaltake kit rather than any others?

For that kind of money, I would seek out a Swiftech, Alphacool or EKWB kit, instead.

Also with that being a hard tubing kit, do you have a heat gun? A pipe cutter? A reamer for smoothing out the burrs after cutting the tubes?

Is this your first custom loop? If it is, buy some extra tubing, as you will make mistakes. And the last thing you want is to run out of tube and have an unfinished build.

As stated above, for $400 you could get better parts and possibly even the tools required to do the job. Or you could go for a soft tubing build and probably do it for a little less cash.

I like performance-pcs. There shipping cost is a little steep, but they have everything you could possibly think of for custom loops, including kits from the above mentioned brands. As well as xspc and more.
