Solution
Of course it's entirely up to you and if it were me, I would steer very clear of these pre-built machines. They are overpriced for what you actually get.

I suggest your best bet is decide what you want it to do, what your budget is, and how long you want your machine to be current.

The specs here are OK for a budget machine, but you can do better for less if you're prepared to either build it yourself (which anyone can do - or get a friend to) or don't pay for half the fluff here you either don't need or is generic crap. Like the power supply that doesn't even tell you what brand it is, which already means "Warning!"

Me, or any of the other guys here can help you with a build.

Is it for gaming only? Will it be used for movie...

Is it for gaming only? Will it be used for movie editing, or anything process demanding?

Will you be filling it with movies? Is it connected to a home theater or used as a home server for media, etc, etc?

How many hours per day will it be used, etc, etc.

What kind of monitor will you want to use? Will you be making do with 1080p something small, or prefer a higher resolution and bigger screen?

Etc, etc, etc...

Solution
I will be buying my desktop mostly to play games, but I would also run photoshop or other drawing software too.

I honestly was kind of rushing just because I wanted it before Christmas for myself.
But reading what you said, I might just consider looking at more desktops myself and asking more on here.

Also, my budget is like $1000, too, which I want to buy a monitor that's at least 24 inches and reacting fast.

Sorry if I did something wrong, it's my first time using this forum..

You did nothing wrong at all! Welcome to the forum!

We are all caring types on here and just don't want you to steer wrong! Best to save your cash and buy something that makes more sense for your needs.

I'll try to put you a build together later knowing you want to spend $1000 (assuming PLUS the cost of a 24" monitor or larger if you're doing art. I'd suggest a 27" at least if this is your angle. 1080p is fine for your needs by the sounds of it. I'll have a look for you later on this evening. But I bet someone else is already poised at building your next machine for you on here! :)

Here's what I think you can do to respect your budget of $1000

Now, you'll still need to buy your monitor on top of this. Since I'm suggesting a GTX 1060 GPU, you should stick to a 1080p monitor. You can go up to the next level of graphics cards (approx $150 more) for the GTX 1070, but then you're starting to want to think about going up to a 1440p monitor and that will cost you a bunch more again!

You'll still have to add your own keyboard and mouse as I didn't suggest one as these are typically subjective on needs and wants.... Let me know what you think!

Okay, so thank you so much for recommending all these parts;
my dad is willing to lend me money (lol) if I really want a desktop.
I think GTX 1060 and 1080p monitor will be fine.
I do need a keyboard and a mouse, but I can just buy the cheap ones from Amazon if I decide to actually make a desktop by myself (with the parts).

I do have a question though, will the 128GB be enough if I want to put at least 3 games such as Overwatch, PUBG, and FF14 with the system actually on the SSD?
+If I am okay with 1TB of HDD too.

You can add more if you'd like for sure, but you should use your 128gb SSD for windows install and put everything else on your storage drive. Maybe fit a couple of your special games that give you longer laod times on the SSD.

But ultimately, was just trying to stretch your budget a little!

Good luck!
