custum made rgb backplate is it worth it

I just ordered a custom made white rgb back plate with the star wars jedi order logo on it. I got it for my msi gtx 1080 armor because It dose not come with a back plate and I think the pcb looks ugly . I ordered it from v1 tech and paid $54.99 with shipping. I know it is going to look good. but did I over pay ? and is it going to mess with my gpu temperatures ?

I personally wouldnt spend 50 bucks on a backplate, but I dont think you overpaid for such a specialty item.
It could have an impact on temps, but I doubt its going to be anything noticeable.
