Hello,

Since I don't have any Headset nor intend to buy one I managed to get a microphone so I could play my games. This mic came along with an Logitech Quickam E2500 and so far I'm very satisfied with the quality, it doesn't muffles the voice and it sounds crystal clear. I managed to insert a sponge so it could cut more the background noise.

Now my problem is, can I cut the wire from the earphone?
I just want to have one wire with the mic in the end so I could get a way to fixing it to my shirt or to improve another way around so he could be steady.

The cable has two jacks, one from audio and one from mic.

Immediate assumption is that you would be just fine to cut it, but its always possible they for some reason or another ran the negative of the mic up with the earbuds before coming back down.

Only way to know is either manage to get someone at Logitech to pull up design diagrams (not likely) or cut it and find out
