Cut The Cable

Hi, if i cut a cable on a PSU to save room will the PSU continue to function? ie: FDD Cable, Molex Cable

Yes, but MAKE SURE you tape it up with INSULATING TAPE...and you DON'T NEED it lol...

No reason why it wouldn't work.. but you have to cap the wire ends. Can't you just tie it, tape it, etc.?. To do a clean & safe job, use some if these caps; and use one cap per wire, not two per cap as the picture shows.

DON'T cut it too close to the PSU....Leave at least an inch MINIMUM...
