I had msi r9 280 gpu, it has dual fan as for the twin frozr iv cooling system. One of the fan need to be replace.

Can I cut its 4 pin cable and joining it with a new one (also 4 pin)?

Solution
The fans in a gpu use their own connectors, if the fan you buy is for your gpu it has a connector on the end of the wire. Unplug the bad, plug on new. Should not be any need whatsoever to cut and splice gpu fans. Ever

I mean, i have dual fan, one need to be replace. So i see some shop online selling one, so its not gopd because if i buy it... we need two 4 pin for that purpose

So, i think, we could cut the old fan and joining the it so that two fan can be join and connectes to the PCB
