I have a CV and sometimes when playing the sound will get really loud.
I opened the coin door turned vol. down but it is only on 4. Play a
couple of more balls and it happens again. Anyone have a clue as to
what could be wrong and where I should start??
Thanks in advance Jim

Sounds like the electronic vol pot is going bad. I think someone said
these were hard to get.

I dont even know what this part is or where it is located on the board.
Anyone have one for sale or do I have to get a new board to fix this
problem?

Does WPC 95 have a electronic volume pot?

TL084 op amp in U1 U2 I think on CV could be going bad, look for bad solder
connections, reflow anyway, could be a cap going on it's way out. Hard to
tell without testing, you can shotgun some parts or wait till it gets worse
and maybe someone can tell you for sure what it might be. I would just send
it to someone before it possibly takes out something else. You don't need a
new board, but sometimes it is a little hard to tell until it acts up more.

Does the WPC95 AV board use the MC3340 attenuator? The BOM I saw in my
Scared manual doesn't list all the IC's. I know the earlier WPC 89
games use it, and it is very hard to find....
