I just bought this card to combine with my i5 4460 and Im using corsair CX600.
I've read it here that this card with computer should need about 500-550w but this is what happend after I installed the card:

First it booted up normaly and got to the first screen of windows and after some seconds it turned black and crashed. Then I try to boot it again and the computer wont even start, not even the CPU fan was spinning.

Should i just get a better power supply or have I damaged the video card since nothing happends when turn the pc on. Later I tested with my old card (r9 270) and the pc is working normally.

The psu is more than capable of driving that card along with your current processor. Not to say in this instance the issue is not with the psu.

Here are some possible faults and testing methods.

Bad PCIE cables

Please try the other pcie cable currently not plugged into the 270, see if you re able to get the computer to post, after posting run a stress test. After passing return the other cable and repeat the stress test.
If either fail clearly your psu is at fault.

Try the card in another pc, if that also fails to post the issue is with the card.

This situation is better handled with troubleshooting in place of spending money you don't need to spend.

The full draw for your system is less than 400 watts. While the cx series is not ideal it is more than capable of handling 400 watts draw at full system load.

Simply put the card is likely faulty and this is how you would go ahead and check that for certain.v

And just for good measure do you have a 600 or a 600M?
