Hi,
New guy here.
Just after completing my 1st build/transplant, the PSU throw out a high pitched whine, loud coil whine I'm guessing. It happens under stress, though not always and always happens when waking a 3tb internal out of sleep for defrag. At least that's what I think is going on.
Ran through HWMon and everything seems well below what the specs indicate they should be.
Would some one please take a look and see if you can spot anything?

I strongly suspect I will have to replace it.

Current Build:
Case: CM HAF 912
CPU: Haswell i5 4430
Heatsink: CM 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte H97M-D3H
OS Drive: PNY CS2211 480 GB
Memory: PNY 8GB X2
Video: MSI Nvidia GTX 750 Ti
PSU: Corsair CX Series, CX750M

Solution
Probably is Coil Whine , no real fix for it , will come and go , usually more prevalent when stressed.

CX series isn't the greatest quality wise but there is a lot worse out there.
Would you have a guess as to what is causing that noise issue? as I mentioned, it sounds like coil whine but it sounds more...industrial if that makes any sense.

It definitely is not a rattle. When the drive comes out of sleep, it sounds very like a noisy cd drive revving during a read. And it only occurs when there is a spike in a power draw, at least thats when ive noticed it, which led me to think that it was the psu.
