Hi folks,
I am currently putting together a HTPC using the Corsair CX430M and the Gigabyte Windforce R9 270 (its just meant to be a cheap, console-equivalent build.)
The CX430M comes with a single 6+2pin PCIe power connector by default. However, the Gigabyte card requires 2x 6-pin connectors.
As the CX430M is semi-modular, and I have a Corsair Type 3 connector with 2x 6+2-pins left over from my AX1500i, would this work in-place of the default, single, 6+2pin?
In my mind it should, as 2x 6-pins (which I need for the Gigabyte card) would draw 150W, same as the 6+2 which is supplied by default.
Thanks for the help!
