Hi Guys! I wanna buy an i3 9100f and a Corsair CX450 80+Bronze and i have this system: Gtx 1070, B250m-D3H montherboard (i will take another motherboard but i don't think matters on this question) , Corsair Vengence 8gb DDR4 2133Mhz,250 SSD, current processor Intel G4560 and an older power supply. You think that it will work? or any recomendation?im in a tight budget! Thanks!

Solution
It Will be a lot better, but still not an amazing CPU.

If you can wait on the Ryzen 3 3100 at $100, that would be my pick since you are buying a new board anyhow.
Honestly I don't think the 3100 is worth it when the 3300X is as fast as a 3600X per core. Although you only get 4c8t, it's still good enough for most games and basically as good as an i7-7700K but far cheaper to buy with motherboard and memory.

Edit - In addition to that, at $120 for either CPU, I'd say it makes more sense to decide on either a Ryzen 5 2600 or Ryzen 3 3300X. You get either more cores/threads or better single threaded performance. I would just skip the Ryzen 3 3100 completely.

Hi guys! I have a Pentium G4560 with Gtx 1070 and i want to know if is worth upgrading to i3 9100f, the processor is around 80$ in my country now and the other option is ryzen 5 2600 anf is 160$ which is too expensive. The i9100f is worth to upgrade from G4560?
