Will this suffice?

I really can't afford a new PSU after forking out for the 1080 was the last of my funds, lol.

Currently using a 970.

Rest of the PC:

CPU: i5-2500K @ 4.4GHz /w Noctua NH-U9S
MOBO: MSI Z77MA-G45
MEM: 16GB HyperX Fury DDR3 @ 1866MHz
SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO
SSD: 1TB Sandisk ULTRA
HDD: 750GB Western Digital

As long as that PSU has the connector or connectors needed, it's 'enough' for the 1080. It's not like that 970 is easy on the power supply. The thing I'll add is I had a Corsair CX and it did the job...until it failed on me after about 4 years. I got my money's worth so this is not a complaint, just a heads up that a power supply of that level is not going to last, especially if you put heavy demands on it, via videocard and/or overclocking.

It is currently 7 years old (this PSU). Lol.

And the 650w is easily enough? :)

Mostly crappy videos though, I checked, and it seems theyre people who don't really know what they're doing, lol.

It'll still be better than my 970 though at least and the 1080 sets me up for a future build.. it should last 5 years or so.

Yeah.

That is my plan, after the Ryzen release, vega release etc and see wht happens to the market. Having this GPU is the expensive part and at least that part is done.

I went for the MSI Gaming X 8GB - I like the design, it cost like £50 more, but it fits nicely with the colouring of my case and RAM etc.
