Interesting stuff for sure. One thing I dont really understand is the rationale behind letting all this info go public. Are they trying to get Americans worked up for some possible action?

Im willing to bet that building is empty and there are a few more bodies getting processed with some horse-meat for some Hungry Man microwave dinners.

I thought for sure when you found something like this you didnt point at it going "Look at what they're doing!" you do some ninja espionage stuff, you know the James Bond of hackers being unleashed on their network. Or at least get names of hackers, which assuming you found the network they are operating out of could personally identify one or two of them. Get a case together and shame them in front of the world.

Well it wasn't like it was the government telling people about it, it was an independent security firm. I'm sure there is a lot more going on in the background than this.

Interesting how the different superpowers have diverged tactics when it comes to cyber war.

I would have thought for sure Russian cyber espionage involved lots of vodka and windows 95 (which is almost impossible to run youporn on).

Right about the private security firm, I wonder what China and Russia think about American cyber - warfare?
