Cyber monday: Are the savings worth using a 10 year old laptop for a month?

Anybody with any experience buying parts/peripherals during Cyber Monday sales? Are they worth it?

The build I have now is getting pretty expensive and I'd like to save some money:

Yeah, I guess I just was wondering the likely hood of that happening. From what I am reading the sales are kind of sporatic so there isn't a solid chance I'd save any money. Thanks for the reply.

Black Friday/Cyber Monday are simply marketing terms for sales between now and mid January.
The same sales that happen all year long.

Will you find an off-brand 60" TV for $600? Probably.
Will you find the actual parts that you want? Probably not.

OK, thanks for the advice! This is actually somewhat good news as the only computer I have at the moment is a 8 year old laptop, so the sooner I get it built the better.
