Cyber power PC won't work with brand new Samsung monitor.

I just purchased a cyber power gaming PC. With a new Samsung monitor. The PC will not work for the new monitor. Even with the proper cables installed. It works on a 10 year old dell monitor just fine. However I would like to use my new monitor. I don't understand why it won't work with the HDMI cord?

The new monitor might require manually setting the HDMI as default input. Check the monitor manual.
