Hello,

Please let me know if you have any comments on this build. I have spent hours and hours learning and reading forums, but there are just SO MANY choices to figure out. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

This is my first try at configuring a full-up system like this. (OK, maybe using CyberPower isn't technically me building it?) I was shooting for a decent performance box--not bargain basement, but not top of the line..trying to find the value sweet spot. I was hoping to stay in the $700-$800 range, but as you can see I missed that by a bit. Any thoughts? This is not really a gaming rig--it's for general purpose home use; will run the occasional game, but not hard core. Also, am I messing up big time by using a builder like CyberPower instead of biting the bullet and doing it myself?

Thanks!

OK, thanks, I'll check it out. I have seen a lot of reviews both awesome and horrible for CyberPower. Luck of the draw maybe? I'm still a little surprised that price-wise they seem to beat DIY at the moment for an apples-to-apples comparison. Figured I was missing something, but it's not looking like it.

I'll take a look at ibuypower.

I already had a OS, and you don't need a 3570k to game. A gpu is more important. For example, a i3 2100+hd 7870 will give you alot higher fps than a i5 3570k+7750.

lol - well, you guys just keep ignoring that I keep saying NON-gamer. For example, I ask "for a non-gamer, would there be a noticeable difference" and you ignore that and instead reply with an answer to a question I didn't ask about gaming and fps.

I do appreciate the help. And I am sure your build is awesome for gaming. But I have a different usage pattern than you seem comfortable talking about.

Anyway, you guys did guide some of my decisions, and now it's all figured. Thanks again for all your time and input! This forum is an awesome resource.
