Prostreamer?

Don't you simply buy a capture like elgato o avermedia and let their dedicated hardware do the work instead of your cpu?

Normally you wouldn't install the capture device on the same system that you're capturing from. It is possible to do so, but would still impact performance since there's still CPU and disk utilization.

You would make the captured file be saved/cached on a disk that is not the same were your games are installed.

If you got a 6-8cores the card cpu impact is greatly reduced, even with a 4core/8thread the utilization is way lower than simply making the cpu do the job in things like OBS.
