CyberPowerPc won't turn on

Ok so I recently bought a new cyber power PC today, it is brand new. So the only thing that it looks like I had to do was take the side panel off and remove the foam packaging. But when I plug in the power cord to my PC and to an outlet, the computer does not turn on. I also hooked up a monitor to the PC and it still didn't turn on. So my question is; Do I have to connect any other wires/cords to anything else or am I doing something wrong?

What, exactly, do you have connected, and to where?
Exactly, in great detail.

Does this wall plug actually work?
How do you know this?

Is there a switch on the back of the PSU, and it is actually ON?
