i can remember being on PS3 and having a 1.65Mbps connection and it would take 2 days just to download patches back then. They weren't that big. 16gb used to take 3 days to download. 63gb would take forever at that speed

its essentially a new game... how big was original install size?

PS5 initial install size was 104gb.
this patch starts as 95gb but shrinks as you download it to 59gb. Its still a fair chunk of previous install size. No idea what install size is after patch though.

And I'm still downloading the update through my poor 10mbps connection (still need another 12 hours or so).
