News Cyberpunk 2077 Developer: We "Ignored the Signals" About Console Versions

How do the developers and programmers forget to test the game on half of the available consoles the game is being released on?

And for that matter, why isn't management also verifying that the game works as intended on every console?

Being in CD Projekt management sounds like a very cushy job since your only duty appears to be giving deadlines without any awareness of what you are managing.

I would just like to say, it sounds like typical top-level management ineptness and not listening to the game directors and programmers. I understand that the game has been delayed several times, but if another one is needed according to the people actually doing the building, then maybe the suggestion should be considered and approved. That being said, this is a next generation game, a fact that hasn't been a secret for a LONG time. This is Crysis of this generation. If you own a P4 or Xbox One and thought you were going to get an A+ play experience on hardware that is ~8 years old, then you deserve what you get.
