[SOLVED] Cyberpunk 2077 menus freeze after 3 seconds of being in them.

The screen keep freezing roughly 2-3 seconds after I open any of the in-game menus. The screen will only resume working if I Alt-Tab out and back into the game, where it will then freeze again after the same 2-3 seconds. The only fix I have found myself is switching the game to run in windowed mode, but I would like to run the game in fullscreen.

To be clear, the game doesn't freeze in these menus, the screen does. I can still hear the sounds of my cursor moving over various buttons and can still click on stuff, It just does not update the screen past either the 2-3 second time or when I Alt-Tab.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so does anyone know how to fix it?

Same for me as well, I can only play on windowed. It does update every time when i alt tab, only the screen freezes, game runs ok
