So, I am upgrading my pre-built pc from cybertron. The power supply is made by them and it is 500 watts.
Do you think it would be safe to upgrade without going over 500 watts?

I wouldn't expect the Cybertron unit to be particularly reliable - nor would I feel too confident in it's ability to provide 39A on the 12V rail as claimed.

I can't find any information on the OEM of those units, so I'd have to assume it's not great.

Quality matters more than strictly (claimed) wattage.

If you're upgrading most/all of the system anyway, I'd have to recommend replacing the PSU also.
Realistically, something like a CX450 from Corsair is a quality unit, and pretty affordable in most regions.
