I just bought a new 1TB WD Blue and when I tried to initialize it, it gave me this error (Cyclic redundancy check).
Read some post that say I should RMA my hdd which I did
Now my new HDD arrived, tried to initialize and it worked, but I haven't made partitions or assign any label to my HDD because I had to go somewhere so I just shut my pc down

Now I got back, open the disk manager and suddenly I had to initialize again, but this time, I got the same error (another cyclic redundancy check), Is it my pc causing problem? Or am I just that unlucky to get a faulty HDD twice? Also it used to work the first time I tried -.-

Try to clean hdd via diskpart, no result (can't run chkdsk because it hasn't initialized yet)

Any help would be appreciated

the sata cable and port works fine with my old hdd, but just in case I already tried a different port (2-6) and change my sata cable (power and data) but it still isn't working
